The Third Annual Buzzards Bay Anglers Club Inshore Tournament

To Benefit The Buzzards Bay Anglers Club Fund at The Community Foundation of Southeastern Massachusetts

October 3rd, 4th and 5th, 2008.

New for this year, this is a full "kill" tournament. The top three boat teams will win prizes. The top three shore anglers will win prizes.

Weigh-in will be held in the parking lot of the Mattapoisett Chowder House.

All MA laws regarding size and quota limits are to be strictly adhered to.

WEATHER: Fish at your own discretion. No lay day.

IGFA rules do not apply.

Fishing begins any time after registration on Friday evening. All fishing ends at 2:00 PM on Sunday. All boats must have the required safety equipment by USGC standards and be fully insured.

Weigh-in Times: Saturday 3:00 PM - 6:00 PM and Sunday 2:00 PM - 4:30 PM

All boats must have a VHF radio with Channel 74, which is the official channel of the tournament.

Species include. Bluefish and Striped Bass.

Boundaries: There are no Geographic limitations.

Friday information (10/3/08)

Registration begins at 5 PM and ends at 8 PM.
Pick up tournament information bags.
Cash Bar and Dinner available.
Team Boat Registration Fee: $200 Non Members /$180 BBAC Members
Team Fee includes captain/owner and three anglers (4 persons total), Tournament shirt, angler bag and Sunday dinner for four.
Individual Angler is $50 for Nonmember or $45 for member and includes: Tournament shirt, angler bag and Sunday dinner.

Single boat angler or Small boat angler entry $45 for member and $50 for nonmember and includes: Tournament shirt, angler bag and Sunday dinner.

Shore/Canal Division Registration Fee: $45 for Members and $50 for nonmembers and includes: Tournament shirt, angler bag and Sunday dinner.

Meal for non-anglers on Sunday Night $20.

Sunday information (10/5/08)

Cash Bar and Appetizers at the Mattapoisett Chowder House starting at 3 PM.
Buffet dinner to be served at 4 PM.
Awards and Raffle will start at 6:00 PM.
Additional tournament T-shirts will be available for purchase.
Additional BBAC promotional items will be for sale during the tournament.
