July 9th Meeting
We are honored to have Craig Caldwell from "Stripers Forever" speak at our July meeting.
Stripers Forever is a 100% volunteer internet-based organization with only one purpose, which is to enhance public fishing for striped bass by making the striped bass a gamefish and ending commercial exploitation of this vital recreational species.
BLUE FISH DERBY

THE "GUS CASASSA" SCUP CUP
Mark your calendars for the Blue Fish Derby and "Gus Casassa" Scup Cup - Saturday, July 11th (rain date -7/18).
Registration opens at 6 AM - Mattapoisett
Town Dock - FEE $10
50/50 cash prizes and raffles
Weigh-in starts at 3:00 PM along with the popular "Gus Casassa Scup Cup" for kids. FREE rods and reels for the 1st 25 kids.
Trash Can Derby
The 2009 Trash Can Derby is on with bragging rights for catching the largest striped bass and bluefish combo are up for grabs.
Important reminder that you have only from now until the August Meeting (8/13th) to sign-up or you won't have a chance at all the tackle and gear in the trash can. Last year's take was worth over $400!
You can download the entry form, rules and score card on our web-site. Bring your entry along with your $20 tackle donation in to Stephen Madden at either the July or August meetings.(Also at the Blue Fish Derby)

BBAC BEACH PARTY - 8/15/09
